GPT-4 was just released today for ChatGPT PLUS users. According to OpenAI, GPT-4 is capable of performing the following tasks.

  1. More creative
  2. Visual input
  3. Long text

More creative

I copied the text content from https://www.biz-genius.com/services/citation-tracking/ and pasted to chatGPT. Then I asked it to write a poem, with the first line starting with ‘a’, the second line with ‘b’, and so on in alphabetical order. Here is the output within a few seconds. It’s pretty amazing! I couldn’t imagine doing it myself even in days!

Amidst the research realm, citations astound,
BizGenius emerges, their service renowned.
Citations they track, with precision and care,
Delivering insights, in data they share.

Experts and scholars, their knowledge combined,
From top institutions, their skills are refined.
Gleaning their wisdom, from years in the field,
Heralding greatness, with every citation revealed.

GPT-4 now understands both texts and images! This is an example from OpenAI’s website:

Accoding to OpenAI, “GPT-4 is capable of handling over 25,000 words of text”. This is make it ideal for creating long-form content, having extended conversations, and analyzing documents.

In summary, GPT-4 is the latest advancement in natural language processing technology. It is capable of performing creative tasks, understanding visual input, and handling long text. I can imagine this tool will make many aspects of our lives more convenient.
